Low-Carb Beef Lettuce Wraps

Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 lbs grass-fed ground beef
10-12 baby gem lettuce leaves (washed)
1 large red onions (or 2 small)
1 carrot, grated
3 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
Salt and Pepper
Chile pepper to taste (optional)
Instructions:
Dice the onion, mince the garlic and grate the carrot and place them in a pan with olive oil. Cook for about 5 minutes at low heat, or until tender and golden.
Add the beef, salt, black pepper and chilli pepper. Cook for 8 minutes at medium heat, breaking the ground beef into small pieces with a wooden spoon.
Add some toasted sesame oil and cook for another 2 minutes.
Place a couple of tbsp of beef on each lettuce leaf (previously washed and rinsed) with a side salad or veggies.
